글로벌 경제위기의 인문학적 해석: 새로운 인식과 실천을 위한 이론적 지도 그리기

초록

The purpose of this essay is to identify and offer a new paradigm of modern society through the critical reappraisal of current global economic crisis. As the current economic crisis in Europe and other regions were occurred mainly due to an immoral nature of free market ideology and mechanism, we contend that we need a paradigm shift from a modern management paradigm focusing on the one dimensional market value to a more complex and relational paradigm of management, emphasizing the humanistic, communitarian and ethical values. Contemporary thoughts and academic disciplines including economics used to favor modern rationalism, and considered human emotion as inferior or treated it a kind of social taboo, but we need a new and changing perspective and also the balance point between reason and emotion. In other words, current crisis is a kind of bursting process of bubble. Hence we need to imagine a new epistemology and practice in a collective and collaborative way, by harmonizing mutuality,equivalency, all directions, and indiscrimination in order to redefine the interrelationship of nature, human, and society.
