초연결사회의 등장과 학교교육의 재구성‘교육적 연결성’ 가설과 그 정책적 함의
초록
The emergence of a hyper-connected society is expected to bring about great changes inschool education. A key characteristic of the hyper-connected society is that everyday socialreality is reinterpreted through the metaphor of ‘connectivity.’ It is thus plausible to expect thatschool education will also be reconstructed based on the connectivity metaphor. This studyaimed to empirically examine this possibility. To this end, patterns from 73 countries wereanalyzed by combining NRI 2020 data and PISA 2018 data. The result clearly showed thatcountries with a higher degree of entry into a hyper-connected society tended to have a higherlevel of ‘educational connectivity’ in terms of the digitalization of the school environment, theexpansion of school boundaries, and the refinement of teaching activities. This pattern suggeststhat as a country enters a hyper-connected society, school education will get a strong drivingforce for change in the direction of strengthening educational connectivity. Various tensions andconflicts will arise between the traditional model of school education and the new changes inschool education. Effectively inducing incremental changes and stably managing such changeswill be an important task of educational policy.
