Optimization of reflector shape for advanced characteristic of flash light sintering with large area and uniform light density

초록

Recently, printed electrodes in conductive thin film using flash light sintering are widely used for electronic device (e.g. solar cells, touch screens, OLED and FPCB). To fabricate the electronic device, the metal nanoink was used and the flash light sintering process should be required. In this paper, for productivity improvement of electronic device via flash light sintering process, the reflector for irradiation of large area was designed. Therefore, to cover large area and have uniform light density, the shape parameters of reflector were controlled. The shape of reflector was coded by ‘MATLAB’ program and optimized with ‘PIAnO’ program. In order to simulate the optical mechanism, ‘APEX’ was used to investigate the light paths, intensity, and uniformity for optimized reflector. Finally, using new designed reflector, the flash light can be irradiated with large area of length (10 cm) and width (15 cm) (lamp size: length (10 cm) and width (1cm)) and uniform light density.
